Law Shield gives a big Mason the Bear high-five to Conoy Township in south-central Pennsylvania, which recently put up a dozen road signs that say “Welcome to Conoy Township. This is not a gun free zone.”
Supervisor Stephen Mohr said the signs were a response to recent home invasions. After the signage was noticed, requests have come in from other Pennsylvania towns along with California, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio and Texas.
Although supervisors haven’t approved selling the signs, Supervisor Mohr expects they will, as a fund-raiser for the fire department or a playground program.
